The Holdup Hollow segment of the Bozeman Trail exhibits the widely variable nature of trail corridor width. Many discernible rut pathways are seen. This segment lies within Holdup Hollow, a reputedly favored spot for stage robbery during the early days of the local stagecoach lines.
